Connecting BP15 type E expansion joint strips and BP16 type V angle expansion joint strips

Expansion joint strips should be made as butt connection with careful placing of the expansion joint membrane by sliding the protruding membrane from the top strip onto the membrane on the bottom strip from the top with overlap – in order to ensure that precipitation water will not penetrate under the strips when flowing down the membrane.

Step by step connecting BP15:

Extended expansion joint membrane on BP15 (top strip)

Two butt-connected BP15 expansion joint strips with expansion joint membrane overlapping the bottom strip from the top

Step by step connecting BP16:

Extended expansion joint membrane on BP16 (top strip)

Two butt-connected BP16 angle expansion joint strips with expansion joint membrane overlapping the bottom strip from the top
