Spacing beads for grès porcelain

Application: to ensure spacing between ceramic tiles (grès porcelain, terracotta tiles).

Functional properties:

• guarantee the necessary spacing between ceramic tiles
• can be easily cut to size
• are lightweight and easy to transport.

Installation: The BP18 spacing bead is fitted with a line of soft plastic along its length to guarantee the correct spacing.

The BP18 spacing bead should be installed between ceramic times by sinking it in the layer of adhesive applied to the surface and allowing the adhesive to pass through the perforations on the bead. Next, ceramic tiles should be positioned on both sides of the spacing bead. The placing of the BP18 spacing bead and the ceramic tiles should take place within a single operation of adhesive application. The BP18 bead comes in two colours: beige and grey.

The BP18 beads should be used in rooms intended for pedestrian traffic only without additional loads, such as forklifts, vehicles of any type or shopping trolleys. The BP18 beads are not structural expansion joints, they only serve to eliminate the stress between the ceramic tiles. The product range includes beads with a depth of 8 mm and 10 mm – depending on the thickness of ceramic tiles.
